Josh Koscheck out of UFC 151 with an injury

The co-main event of UFC 151 was scheduled to be a welterweight bout with Josh Koscheck meeting Jake Ellenberger, but an injury has forced the former title contender off the card.

During Tuesday night’s “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV, it was announced that Koscheck has a bulging disk in his back and is out of UFC 151.

A new opponent for Ellenberger was not announced and a  new opponent will be announced soon.

UFC 151 takes place on September 1st from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending his light heavyweight title against former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson.
