Former UFC heavyweight champions Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski had their fourth fight in the Philippines today at One FC 5: Pride of a Nation and the fight was declared a no-contest in the second round after an illegal soccer kick by Arlovski.
Arlovski landed a two punch combo near the end of the second round, which dropped Sylvia and he landed two illegal soccer kicks.
Soccer kicks are legal in One FC, if the referee declares that the fighter is allowed to throw soccer kicks to a downed opponent. Sylvia was given five minutes to recover from the illegal strike and the referee issued a yellow card to Arlovski.
After the five minutes was up, the fight was declared a no-contest and the former UFC champions appear headed to a fifth fight, which will likely happen in One FC.
