Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal are both sponsored by MMA Elite and the two former champions squashed their beef with each other.
Over the past couple of years, both fighters have talked about each other and they have moved past that. During a recent interview, both fighters talk about being apart of the MMA Elite team, gameplans, Chael Sonnen and Greg Jackson.
When it came to Chael Sonnen, King Mo likes Chael because he understands what he is trying to do. However, Rampage is not a fan of Chael and doesn’t like the fact that he is calling out guys who are not in his weight division.
It appears that this video was filmed prior to the announcement that Sonnen would be moving up to the light heavyweight division to take on former champion Forrest Griffin.
Rampage only has one fight left on his contract and that fight will take place at UFC 153 on October 13th against Glover Teixeira. Rampage has made it clear that he is done with the UFC after this fight.
Could a fight with Sonnen get him to stay in the UFC? Rampage claims in the video he doesn’t like Sonnen’s wrestling style and he likes guys who go into the cage and fight.
However, a fight between these two fighters would be a big payday for both guys and they are two of the best trash talkers currently in the UFC.
