Injuries are a big part of mixed martial arts and the UFC has announced a changed to the UFC 152 card in Toronto on September 22nd.
Roger Hollett has pulled out of his UFC 152 bout with Matt Hamill and replacing Hollett will be Vladimir Matyshenko.
The UFC made the announcement today on Twitter and the fight is expected to take place on the preliminary card.
Hamill (10-4) recently came out of retirement and this will be his first fight since UFC 133 last year. He will enter the octagon on a two fight losing streak and had won five in a row before the recent losing streak.
Matyushenko (26-6) has not been in the octagon since UFC 141 last year and was defeated by Alexander Gustafsson by TKO in the first round. Prior to the fight with Gustaffson, he had won two straight fights and four of his last five fights.
UFC 152 takes place from the Air Canada Centre in September 22nd and will be headlined by Joseph Benavidez taking on Demetrious Johnson for the first ever UFC flyweight championship.
