After the first two fights on tonight’s Strikeforce card went the decision, the last four fight have been ended by submission or knockout. 
In the second fight on the main card, Anthony Smith (17-7) defeated Lumumba Sayers with a triangle choke submission at the 3:52 mark of the first round.
The fight went to the ground early in the round and Smith was able to get the mount. Sayers (6-3) was able to get out of the bad position, but Smith was able to get the fight back to the ground.
He then worked his submission game and locked in the triangle choke. This is his eighth career submission victory and has now won three straight fights.
