UFC middleweight Chris Leben has been out of action since last November after a positive drug test following UFC 138 and will make his return to the octagon at UFC 155 against Karlos Vemola.
The news of the fight was announced on the Twitter page of UFC Australia and this fight will likely be on the preliminary card of UFC 155.
Leben (22-8) was a contestant on the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter” and has a UFC record of 12-7.
Prior to his lost to Mark Munoz at UFC 138, he had won four of his last five and three of those wins were by stoppage.
Vemola (9-3) has competed in the UFC heavyweight, light heavyweight and middleweight division during his six fights in the UFC.
He dropped down to the middleweight division at UFC on FOX 3 against Mike Massenzio and won by submission in the second round. He made a quick return to the octagon in July, but was defeated by Francis Carmont at UFC on FUEL TV 4.
UFC 155 takes place on December 29th in Las Vegas and is expected to be headlined by Junior dos Santos defending the UFC heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez, which will be a rematch of their title fight from last year.
