ONE FC has announced that the preliminary bout at last week’s ONE FC: Pride of a Nation between Shannon Wiratchai and Mitch Chilson has now been ruled a no contest. 
The bout was originally scored as a knockout victory for Wiratchai in the second round, but ONE FC officials declared it a no contest after reviewing the fight.
ONE FC officials ruled that Wiratchai landed an illegal kick to his opponent in the second round and the referee incorrectly stopped the fight.
With fighters and referees being confused by the rules for soccer kicks in ONE FC, the organization announced in the recent days that they have adopted full PRIDE rules for soccer kicks.
Soccer kicks are now allowed under the unify rules of mixed martial arts, which is the rules that most promotions in North America use.
