Results of last night bouts on “The Ultimate Fighter”

The 16th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” debuted last night on FX with the 16 preliminary fights, which determined which fighters would move into the house.

This season features welterweight (170 lbs) fighters and the coaches are UFC heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson.

The results of the last night’s preliminary fights are below:

After the preliminary bouts where complete, the teams were picked. Nelson won the coin flip and elected to be able to pick the first fight. With Nelson choosing that option, Carwin got the first pick and selected Sam Alvey.
