UFC President Dana White recently announced that UFC on FX 6 would be taking place in Australia and one of the fights on the card would be Hector Lombard meeting Rousimar Palhares. 
The UFC announced late last night that the event will come from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia.
The date of the card is December 15th in Australia and will air live in the United States on December 14th on FX. UFC on FX 6 will serve as the finale of TUF: Smashes, which begins this week and fans in the Unites States will be able to watch the reality show on TUF.tv.
The UFC has also announced two additional fights for the card as TUF coaches Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos will square off in a lightweight bout. Also, the UFC confirmed the report that Krzysztof Soszynski takes on Ednaldo Oliveira in a light heavyweight bout.
