UFC 152: By the Odds

Tonight marks the first time the UFC has had a fight card in 42 days and will feature two title fights on the pay-per-view portion of the card.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is one of the biggest favorites in UFC history as he open up as a 8-1 favorite over Vitor Belfort.

According to BestFightOdds.com, the online sportsbook 5 Dimes has Jones currently as a nearly 7-1 favorite. It’s not a surprise that the betting public has decided to put money on Belfort as the fight nears, because the value is high.

During this week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Brian Edwards of BrianEdwardsSports.com and VegasInsider.com joined the show to talk about the betting odds for this fight card.

As Edwards mentioned on the show this week, if you are looking at placing a bet on Jones, the best option is to look at the prop bets. In particular, Jones to win by TKO (-150) or for him to win in a particular round.

Below is Edwards full interview from this week’s show, which includes his thoughts on the main event, co-main event and the middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Brian Stann.
