The UFC 152 preliminary card on FX will start with a featherweight bout as Jimy Hettes (10-0) meets Ultimate Fighter Alum Marcus Brimage (5-1).
Hettes made his UFC debut last year and has started his UFC career with two straight victories, but has not been seen in the octagon since UFC 141 at the end of 2011.
He was scheduled to return earlier this year at UFC on FX 4 against Steven Siler, but an injury forced him off the card.
Brimage was on season 14 of the Ultimate Fighter and was a member of Team Bisping. After finishing the reality show, he decided that he would move down to the featherweight division. He made his official UFC debut at the live finale of the reality show and has won both of his fights in the UFC.
Brimage’s strength is his hands, where Hettes is strong on the ground with nine of his ten victories coming by submission. Brimage will look to keep this fight standing and force Hettes to beat him standing and not on the ground. On the other side, Hettes will look to take his opponent out of his comfort zone and take the fight to the ground.
TheMMAReport.com predicts that Hettes will get a submission victory in the second round.
