A bantamweight bout as been added to UFC 155 as former WEC fighters Eddie Wineland and Brad Pickett will square off.
The UFC made the fight announcement on their website and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
Wineland (19-8-1) recently snapped a two fight losing streak at UFC on FX 3 against Scott Jorgensen, which he won by knockout in the second round. For his performance, he won the fight of the night bonus and it was first UFC victory.
Pickett (22-6) has won his last two fights and has won three of his last four. During his recent win streak, he holds win over Damacio Page and Yves Jabouin. Both wins were by stoppage and his win over Jabouin was the knockout of the night at UFC on FUEL TV 5.
UFC 155 takes place on December 29th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by Junior dos Santos defending the UFC heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez, who he defeated last year to win the title.
