It was announced yesterday that Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen would be the coaches for season 17 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and will then meet each other for the light heavyweight title on April 27, 2013.
During last night’s edition of “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV, Sonnen joined the show to talk about his upcoming stint as a coach on the reality show and the fight with Jones.
This was another classic interview with Sonnen, which he continued his trash talking and stated that Jones should have moved up in weight to the heavyweight division.
“Hey Jon, I’m coming to the division, which puts you on notice to pack your bags and get out of it,” Sonnen said. “He was taking about going to heavyweight and he should have done it. The bottom line is, he waited to long and now the man has arrived.”
The two light heavyweight fighters will begin filming the reality show at the end of the month and will take part in a media conference call this afternoon. UFC President Dana White will also be on the call, which the full conference call will be made available on TheMMAReport.com after it’s finished.
