Vinny Magalhaes recently returned to the UFC in September and defeated Igor Pokrajac by submission at UFC 152. After Phil Davis defeated Fabio Maldonado on Saturday, Magalhaes went to Twitter to say that he would like to face the former Penn State wrestler at some point.

Following sending the tweet above, some fans felt that Magalhaes wanted the fight now. After receiving messages from fans, Magalhaes sent out another tweet to let people know that he wants to fight him at some point.
“Not worried about his skills, I like that fight, but I know my place n respect the rankings,” Magalhaes wrote.
Magalhaes (10-5, 1NC) is currently on a six fight winning streak and will need a couple of more wins before he could possible get a fight against Davis, who is one of the top lightweights in the UFC.
The UFC has not announced who Magalhaes will face next and is next appearance in the octagon will likely take place at the beginning of 2013.
