Hyun Gyu Lim pulled from UFC on FUEL TV 6 bout against David Mitchell

Prior to the UFC on FUEL TV 6 weigh-in’s, the UFC announced a changed in the fight card as preliminary card fighter Hyun Gyu Lim was pulled off the card after doctors declared him medically unfit to fight.

The UFC released a statement on the situation and did not go into details on why Lim was pulled from the fight.

“After being examined by doctors it was determined that Hyun Gyu Lim was medically unfit to participate in tomorrow’s event and as a precaution, his UFC Macao bout has been canceled,” the statement said. “His opponent, David Mitchell, will be paid his show money.”

This fight was scheduled to be the first fight on the preliminary card, which would have aired on the UFC Facebook page. As of now, the preliminary card is still scheduled to begin at 7:15 a.m. ET on the UFC Facebook page and will have three fights on this portion of the card.
