It’s not known at this time if the fight will take place on the main card on FOX or the preliminary card on FUEL TV.
Wiman (15-6) is a 13 fight veteran of the UFC and has won five fight night bonuses, which included three straight fights where he won the fight of the night bonus. He is currently on a two fight winning streak, with the most recent victory coming at UFC on FUEL TV 5 against Paul Sass. He defeated Sass by submission in the first round with an armbar and won the submission of the night bonus.
Grant (19-5) started his UFC career as a welterweight and dropped down to the lightweight division last year. Since moving down to lightweight, he has gone 3-0 and recently defeated Evan Dunham by decision at UFC 152.
UFC on FOX 6 takes place on January 26th from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the UFC flyweight title for the first time against John Dodson.
