The bout will now happen at UFC 157 on February 23rd in California as UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday.

Schaub (8-3) is currently on a two fight losing streak with both of those losses coming by knockout. His last win came at UFC 128 against Mirko Cro Cop in the beginning of 2011 and he will be looking for his fifth UFC victory at UFC 157.

During his career, Schaub has finished seven of his opponents by knockout and three of his four victories in the UFC have come by TKO/KO.

Johnson (17-6) entered the UFC earlier this year after being in Strikeforce and opened his UFC career with back to back victories. Those victories came against Joey Beltran and Pat Barry, with the end of the first coming in the first round by knockout. In both of those wins, he won the knockout of the night bonus.

After starting 2-0 in the UFC, he was booked to face Stefan Struve at UFC 146 and he was defeated by submission in the first round. It was his fifth career lost by submission and his first lost since Shawn Jordan submitted him in Strikeforce.

UFC 157 takes place on February 23rd at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Liz Carmouche.
