Following the conclusion of TUF 16 Finale, Melvin Guillard, Pat Barry and Roy Nelson talked to FUEL TV about what happened this past Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Guillard talked about how he found out about his fight with Jamie Varner being canceled and that Varner’s camp had accused him of something before the fight was scratched by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
“I was told in my locker room,” Guillard said. “I was sitting down and getting my rules meeting from my ref. Then someone in his corner accused me of greasing. I was a little riled up. Then they told me Varner was throwing up and the fight was cancelled, but I thought it was a joke. I’m still warming up but then the commissioner came in I knew it was over. When Joe Silva came in I knew.”
