Bellator 87 Weigh-In Results

The Bellator 87 weigh-in’s took place on Wednesday afternoon from the Soaring Eagle Resort and Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and the fight card is now official with ten bouts, which includes the lightweight tournament quarterfinals.Bellator 87 Weigh In

The preliminary card will begin at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow on Spike.com and will be headlined by a lightweight tournament reserve bout as Jason Fischer (155.8 lbs) takes on Sevak Magakian (155.2 lbs).

Awad was originally scheduled to face Fischer on the preliminary card, but he was moved into the tournament when Patricky Pitbull pulled out of the tournament with an injury.

With Pitbull out, Awad (156 lbs) will face Guillaume DeLorenzi (155.2 lbs) in one of the quarterfinal bouts on tomorrow night’s card.

One of the other lightweight tournament quarterfinal bouts will feature tournament veterans as David Rickels (155.4) makes his Bellator lightweight debut as he faces Lloyd Woodard (154.2). After Rickels weighed in, he issued a challenge to Woodard that the loser has to shave their beard and Woodard accepted the challenge.

During the official weigh-in event, Will Brooks and Ricardo Tirloni did not weigh-in and both fighters weighed later in the afternoon. Both fighters were on weight and the tournament fights are now official.
