A middleweight bout has been added to the UFC 158 card in Montreal as TUF 11 alums square off with Chris Camozzi facing Nick Ring.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Saturday and it’s likely that the fight will take place on the preliminary card, which will air on FX and Facebook.
Camozzi (18-5) opened his UFC career with back to back victories. After being defeated by Kyle Watson at UFC 127 and was released from the organization.
After getting a win outside of the UFC, he was signed backed and returned at UFC 137 against Francis Carmont. He would lose to Carmont by decision and has won his past three fights.
Ring (13-1) has won three of his four fights in the UFC. He holds wins over Riki Fukuda, James Head and Court McGee. His win over Head came by submission and it was his sixth career win by submission. His only defeat came against Tim Boetsch at UFC 135 by decision and all of his fights in the UFC have gone to the third round.
UFC 158 takes place on March 16th at the Bell Centre in Montreal and will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre defending the UFC welterweight title against former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
