A bantamweight bout has been added to UFC 156 on Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas as Dustin Kimura will make his UFC debut against Chico Camus.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday and the fight will take place on the preliminary card, which is expected to air on FX and Facebook.
Kimura (9-0) began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2009 and has either submitted or knockout his opponent in eight of his nine fights. Six of his victories are by submission and his last two wins are by TKO/KO.
Camus (12-3) made his UFC debut last year in August at UFC 150 and scored a victory when he defeated Dustin Pague by decision. It was his fourth straight win and all four of those wins were by decision. Prior to those decision wins, seven of his eight victories were by stoppage, with four of them coming by knockout.
UFC 156 takes place on February 2nd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar.
