A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 158 on March 16th as Strikeforce fighter Jordan Mein will make his UFC debut against Dan Miller.
UFC officials announced the fight on Friday and the bout will likely take place on the preliminary portion of the fight card.
Mein (26-8) is currently on a two fight winning streak and has won eight of his last night fights. He won two of his three fights in Strikeforce and holds a victory over former DREAM welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis.
His last fight took place outside of Strikeforce and he was in the main event of Score Fighting Series 7, which he defeated Forrest Petz by TKO in the first round.
Miller (14-6, 1NC) is the older brother of UFC lightweight Jim Miller and won his UFC welterweight debut against Ricardo Funch at UFC on FX 4 last year. He has gone 6-5 in the UFC and four of those wins have come by submission.
UFC 158 takes place on March 16th from the Bell Centre in Montreal and will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre defending the UFC welterweight title against former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
