A bantamweight bout has been added to UFC 158 on March 16th in Montreal as Yves Jabouin will take on Johnny Eduardo.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday and the bout will likely take place on the preliminary card, which is likely for FX and Facebook.
Jabouin (18-8) is a five fight veteran of the UFC and has gone 3-2 in the organization. After losing his UFC debut to Pablo Garza at UFC 129 as a featherweight, he dropped down to the bantamweight division.
As a bantamweight, he won three straight fights which included a decision win over Jeff Hougland at UFC on FUEL TV 3. His next fight would take place at UFC on FUEL TV 5 and he was defeated by Brad Pickett.
Eduardo (26-9) made his UFC debut in 2011 in Brazil and was defeated by Raphael Assuncao by decision. He returned at UFC on FUEL TV 3 and scored his first UFC victory by defeating Jeff Curran by decision.
UFC 158 takes place on March 16th from the Bell Centre in Montreal and will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre defending the UFC welterweight title against former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
