The World Series of Fighting announced yesterday that it’s second event would take place on March 23rd in Atlantic City and the fight card will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Andrei Arlovski meets Anthony Johnson.
Arlovski and Johnson both confirmed the fight on Twitter and they will headline the fight card coming from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City.
Arlovski (19-9, 1NC) has gone 4-0, 1NC since being released from Strikeforce and he headlined the first WSOF fight card. Three of his last four wins have come by TKO/KO and he is coming off a decision win against Mike Hayes.
Johnson (14-4) has won four straight fights since being released from the UFC after he lost to Vitor Belfort at UFC 142. Since leaving the UFC, he has fought at light heavyweight and this will be his heavyweight debut. He was also on the inaugural WSOF event and he defeated D.J. Linderman by knockout in the first round.
WSOF 2 takes place on March 23rd from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and will air on the NBC Sports Network at 10 p.m. ET.
