The eight season of Bellator MMA will continue this Thursday night from Utah’s Maverik Center and will be headlined by the season seven featherweight final as Rad Martinez (14-2) faces Shahbulat Shamhaleav (11-1-1) and the winner will be guaranteed a title shot.
Along with the featherweight final, the card will have the semifinals in this season’s light heavyweight and welterweight tournament.
In the light heavyweight tournament, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (9-1) meets Emanuel Newton (19-7-1) and Mikhail Zayats (20-6) facing Jacob Noe (11-1).
The welterweight tournament semifinals will see Douglas Lima (23-5) faces Bryan Baker (18-4), who is an injury replacement for Brent Weedman and Ben Saunders (15-5) takes on Raul Amaya (11-1).
