The UFC 156 Weigh-In’s took place on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and all of the fighters on the main card were on weight.
In the main event tomorrow night, Jose Aldo (144 lbs) will defend the UFC featherweight title against former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (144 lbs).
The only fighters on the card that were not on weight initially were preliminary card participants Dustin Kimura, Edwin Figueroa and Francisco Rivera.
Figueroa and Rivera both initially missed weight, but they would be given additional time and they both were able to make the bantamweight limit.
Kimura (139.5) also missed the bantamweight limit of 136 pounds for his bout against Chico Camus. He will not attempt to lose the additional weight and will be fined 20 percent of his purse.
