Bellator 93 DVR Numbers

Bellator’s ninth live show on Spike TV last week once again scored improved live + 3 (DVR) numbers.

Last weeks Bellator 93, which combined number (live + replay) was very good considering the competition, drew a DVR increase of about 7%.

This rise brought the show to a grand viewership total of 804k thanks to the live + 3 (DVR) numbers that were released today.

This increase also brings the season eight total viewership average (with DVR) down a few more ticks to 861k total live + 3 (DVR). However, it should be noted that because of the previous couple weeks demographic dips the overall household rating for season has dipped below 0.7.

It should also be noted that last weeks Bellator went head-to-head with the 2013 NCAA Basketball tournament first round games which ended up scoring its highest first-round ratings in over 20 years. Think about that, the NCAA had record ratings and Bellator was able to keep pace with its season long average. I don’t know about you, but that is a win for me and certainly should be for Bellator and SpikeTV executives.

As a reminder, this adjustments was due to the live + 3 (DVR) numbers which will be released every Tuesday. For those new to Nielsen ratings terminology, live + 3 is a equal to a total of live viewership plus 3 days worth of DVR usage.
