An undisclosed injury has forced Dan Hardy to pull out of his UFC on FOX 7 bout against Matt Brown and Jordan Mein has agreed to take the fight against Brown. 
UFC officials announced the changed overnight and the bout is expected to take place on the main card.
UFC on FOX 7 takes place on April 20th from the HP Pavilion in San Jose and will be headlined by Benson Henderson defending the UFC lightweight title against Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez.
Mein (27-8) made his UFC debut last weekend at UFC 158 in Montreal and defeated Dan Miller by TKO in the first round. It was his third straight win and he has won nine out of his last ten fights.
Brown (16-11) is currently on a four fight winning streak in the UFC and three of those wins have come by TKO/KO. This will be his second straight fight on a FOX card as he defeated Mike Swick by knockout at UFC on FOX 5 in December.
