An undisclosed injury has forced Jimy Hettes to pull out of his UFC 159 bout against Steven Siler and stepping in to replace Hettes will be Strikeforce import Kurt Holobaugh.
UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday night and the fight will take place on the preliminary card of UFC 159.
Holobaugh (9-1) opened his career with nine straight victories before being signed by Strikeforce. His Strikeforce debut came against Pat Healy at the final Strikeforce card in January and was defeated by unanimous decision.
Siler (21-10) was a partipant on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter and won his first three UFC fights before being defeated at UFC 154 against Darren Elkins. Four of his last six wins have come by submission and he has 13 career wins by submission.
UFC 159 takes place on April 27th from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Chael Sonnen.
