Bellator will be returning to Florida on March 28th from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa and the card will feature the finals in the lightweight and light heavyweight tournaments.Bellator 94

Tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, by visiting the Sun Dome Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Wal-Mart. Ticket prices range from $30 – $120.

The lightweight final will see David Rickels (13-1) meet Saad Awad (14-4) with the winner securing a title shot against the lightweight champion. This is the second Bellator tournament that Rickels has been in and this is the first time he has made it to the finals.

“I’ve got all the respect in the world for Saad,” Rickels said. “The guy has two huge knockouts in this tournament, but not too many men have been able to stand with the Caveman, and that’s not going to change March 28th.”

Awad entered the Bellator tournament as a replacement for Patricky Pitbull in the quarterfinals and has only spent 74 seconds in the Bellator cage in his two tournament bouts. He is coming off a knockout victory over top lightweight prospect Will Brooks and he will look to punch his ticket to a title shot in two weeks.

The light heavyweight tournament will feature two fighters that were not picked to make it to the finals as Emanuel Newton (20-7) meets. Mikhail Zayats (21-6). Newton pulled off an upset at Bellator 90 against former Strikeforce champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and he plans to shock the world again at Bellator 94.

“I shocked the world once, and I’ll do it again March 28th,” Newton said. “After this tournament, everyone is going to know who Emanuel Newton is, and I’m going to be coming for that belt.”

The preliminary card will feature two women’s bouts as one of the fights will feature top 115 pound fighter Jessica Aguilar. She has gone 4-1 in Bellator and is currently on a five fight winning streak.

“Bellator is my home and I can’t wait to get back into the cage in front of all my friends, family and fans and continue to show the world I’m the best female fighter on the planet,” Aguilar said.
