Amir Sadollah injury and Nah-Shon Burrell steps in against Stephen Thompson at UFC 160

An undisclosed injury has forced Amir Sadollah to pull out of his UFC 160 bout against Stephen Thompson and Nah-Shon Burrell has agreed to step in. UFC 160 copy

UFC officials announced the change on Wednesday and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.

UFC 160 takes place on May 25th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title against Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

Burrell (9-2) made his UFC debut earlier this year when he defeated Chris Leben by decision at UFC 156. Prior to entering the UFC, he was a four fight veteran of Strikefore where he won three of his four fights in the organization.

Thompson (6-1) entered the UFC at the beginning at 2012 and won his debut against Dan Stittgen at UFC 143. He suffered his first career defeat at UFC 145 against Matt Brown and was defeated by unanimous decision.
