The main event for UFC on FOX 8 has been announced as Demetrious Johnson will defend the UFC flyweight title against John Moraga.
UFC officials confirmed the fight booking on Wednesday night and also announced that Miesha Tate will face Liz Carmouche on the main card.
UFC on FOX 8 takes place on July 27th at KeyArena in Seattle and the organization has not announced when tickets will go on sale.
Johnson (17-2-1) became the inaugural UFC flyweight champion last year when he defeated Joseph Benavidez in the final of the flyweight tournament at UFC 152 by decision.
He made his first title defense earlier this year at UFC on FOX 6 in Chicago and defeated John Dodson by decision.
Moraga (13-1) has won his first two fights in the organization and both of those wins have come by stoppage. His most recent win came at UFC 155 over Chris Cariaso and he won the submission of the night bonus for his victory.
