A lightweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 8 on July 27th in Seattle as Melvin Guillard will meet Mac Danzig. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday as both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout and this is the first fight booked for the fight card.
Guillard (30-12-2, 1NC) is currently on a two fight losing streak and has lost four of his last five fights. His only win in his last five fights came against Fabricio Camoes at UFC 148 last year, which was a decision victory. He recently left the Blackzilian training camp and has move his training to Team Grudge in Colorado.
Danzig (21-10-1) has gone 3-3 in his last six fights and he recently was defeated by Takanori Gomi at UFC on FUEL TV 6. During his previous four fights, he has won three fight night bonus which includes the knockout of the night bonus at UFC 124 against Joe Stevenson.
UFC on FOX 8 takes place on July 27th from KeyArena in Seattle and the UFC is expected to announce the main event in the coming weeks.
