A lightweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 8 on July 27th in Seattle as Spencer Fisher will meet Yves Edwards.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 8 takes place on July 27th from KeyArena in Seattle and the UFC has not announced the main event or when tickets will go on sale at this time.
Fisher (24-9) originally made his debut in the UFC in 2005 and has won five fight night bonuses in his seventeen UFC fights. He is currently on a three fight losing streak and has lost five of his last six. He won the fight of the night bonus in his last fight, which was a decision lost to Sam Stout at UFC on FX 4 last year.
Edwards (42-19-1) has gone 4-3 since returning to the UFC in 2010 and is 2-2 in his last four fights. His last win came at UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle against Jeremy Stephens, which he won the knockout of the night bonus for his first round victory. He was recently defeated by Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC 156 by split decision.
