Pat Healy returned to the UFC for the first time since 2006 and defeated Jim Miller by rear-naked choke submission in the third round.
Healy was able to land more strikes in all three rounds, but Healy was able to use his ground game to eventually get the victory.
In the opening round, Miller appeared close to getting a victory but Healy was able to survive the round. As the round ended, Healy stumbled back to his corner and was able to answer the bell in the second round.
Healy was able to even up the fight in the second round by controlling the fight on the ground and having a 24-5 in significant strikes landed.
In the final round, Healy was able to once again get the fight to the ground and was eventually be able to lock in a rear-naked choke. After getting his arm under the chin of Miller, the referee would stop the fight when Miller went to sleep.
Healy (32-16) has now won seven in a row and prove that he is a contender in the UFC lightweight division.
