The main event of UFC on FOX 7 was a champion versus champion bout as Benson Henderson retained the UFC lightweight title over Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez.
Henderson won the fight by split decision as two of the three judges scoring the fight saw it 48-47 for him and the other judge had it 48-47 for Melendez.
