A lightweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 8 on July 27th in Seattle as Justin Salas will meet Aaron Riley.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday night following UFC Tonight and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 8 takes place from KeyArena in Seattle on July 27th and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the UFC flyweight title against John Moraga.
Salas (10-4) made his UFC debut at the beginning of 2012 at UFC on FUEL TV 1 and defeated Anton Kuivanen by unanimous decision. It was his sixth straight victory and returned at UFC on FX 3 and was defeated by Tim Means. He was scheduled to face Edson Barboza at UFC on FX 7 at the beginning of the year, but he had to pull out of the fight with an injury.
Riley (30-13-1) is in his third stint with the UFC and has gone 3-3 in his last six fights in the organization. During his last six fights, all of the wins have come by decision and all of the losses have come by TKO with two of those losses coming in the first round.
