A middleweight bout is now official as The Ultimate Fighter alums square off as Clint Hester will face Cezar Ferreira.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday and the bout will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC 163 takes place on August 3rd from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against Anthony Pettis.
Hester (8-3) was a member of Team Jones during the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter and was the second overall pick. He won his official UFC debut at the live finale against Bristol Marunde by knockout in the third round and it was his fourth straight victory.
Ferreira (5-2) won The Ultimate Fighter Brazil last year and this will be his first fight in the UFC since winning the reality show. He was scheduled to be on the UFC on FX 8 card earlier this month but an injury forced him off the card.
