Diaz tweeted earlier today about the situation involving Pat Healy where he lost his bonus money from UFC 159 due to his positive drug test following the fight card.

“I feel bad for Pat Healy that they took a innocent mans money and I think the guy who took the money is the biggest f** in the world,” Diaz tweeted.

In the announcement of Diaz being suspended, the UFC released a statement about his suspension and that an internal investigation will take place.

“We are very disappointed by Nate Diaz’s comments, which are in no way reflective of our organization,” the statement said. “Nate is currently suspended pending internal investigation and we will provide further comment once the matter has been decided.”

The UFC suspended heavyweight fighter Matt Mitrione earlier this year for comments he made and he was fined an undisclosed amount of money and was recently taken off suspension.

Diaz’s manager Mike Kogan did release a statement to MMAJunkie.com but Diaz has not made any comments since the UFC announced his suspension.
