Koji Oishi was able to survive a flurry of punches at the end of the first round and won the ONE FC featherweight title in the second round with a knockout victory over Honorio Banario.
The fight opened with each fighter feeling each other out for the first minute before Banario was to land his jab. He would then land a three punch combination before Oishi backed away.

Oishi would land a right hand with 40 seconds left in the round that dropped Banario but he would recover. Banario would come back to drop Oishi with his punches and nearly got a stoppage victory before the round concluded.
