It was the first time that am stepped into a cage since August of last year when he defeated Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas in Brazil.

During his appearance on “The MMA Report Live,” Nam stated he simply got caught by a head kick and would like to get a rematch with Moraes in the future.

“I know that I have to go out there, put up a couple of wins before I ask for something of that from Marlon and the World Series of Fighting,” Nam said. “I got to go out there and prove myself again.”

Nam (12-5) is currently back in the gym and is waiting to hear from the World Series of Fighting on who his next opponent will be. There is one opponent that does interest him for his next fight and that would be former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres.

“I think that would be a great match. Miguel and I have been having a few tweets toward each other and it makes sense. The fans can get behind it and push the World Series of Fighting for that fight, I think it will definitely happen.”

Torres made his World Series of Fighting debut at the inaugural event last year and was defeated by Moraes by unanimous decision. Nam felt he should have got the fight with Torres first but a contract dispute with Bellator MMA did not allow it to take place.

“I felt that I should have had first crack at Miguel in the World Series in their first event but due to contract disputes and timing that Miguel and Marlon fought first. I feel like its a fight that should of happen. Miguel and myself got beat by Marlon, I mean it makes all the sense in the world to me that we meet up in the near future.”

Speaking of the contract dispute that Nam had with Bellator MMA, he doesn’t hold any hard feeling towards the organization and understands what the situation was.

“I don’t have any hard feeling towards Bellator or Bjorn. I know it’s all about business aspects of keeping fighters that you want. I felt that I never fought under their banner so I mean I beat their champion and it made sense to progress in my career in a different organization.”

Former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez is now going through a contract dispute with Bellator and Nam knows what Alvarez is going through.

“It’s really frustrating and stressful to where you want to do other things but a couple of words on a piece of paper hold you up from moving on in your career. For Eddie, I would tell him to hit up Andrew Vecere, my magic man that help me work out of that and get into the World Series of Fighting. If he needs some information, hit me up on Twitter or something like that and I would be happy to help him out.”
