The UFC 160 Fight Night Bonuses went to Junior dos Santos, Mark Hunt, Glover Teixeira, and TJ Grant.
UFC President Dana White announced the bonus winners at the post fight press conference and each bonus is worth $50,000.
The fight of the night went to Dos Santos and Hunt who were in the co-main event of the fight card. Dos Santos won the fight in the third round when he landed a spinning heel kick and finished the fight on the ground.
Both fighters have won fight night bonuses before as this is the fourth bonuses for Dos Santos in his UFC career and this is the third bonus for Hunt. Prior to tonight, neither fighter had won the fight of the night bonus as their previous bonuses were for the knockout of the night bonus.
The UFC originally announced that the knockout of the night bonus was going to Dos Santos but White announced that he was giving the bonus to TJ Grant. White said that Mike Tyson felt that Grant should get the bonus for his knockout win over Gray Maynard and the White felt that was a good idea.
Along with winning the knockout of the night bonus, Grant secured a lightweight title shot against Benson Henderson for later in the year. During his post fight scrum, White said that fight is one of the fights they are considering to headline UFC on FS1 on August 17th in Boston.
The submission of the night went to Teixeira who used a guillotine choke to finish James Te Huna in the first round. This win is the 19th straight win for Teixeira and the first time he has won a fight night bonus in his four UFC fights.
