Glover Teixeira won his 19th straight fight with a submission victory in the first round over James Te Huna at UFC 160.
Both men came out swinging as the fight started and Teixeira looked for a takedown which was unsuccessful.
They would continue to swing away in the center of the cage and Teixeira would be able to take the fight to the round on his second attempt. While on the ground, he was in half guard and moved to top position.
Te Huna would get back to his feet but Teixeira had a hold of his neck and locked in a guillotine choke. As he had the hold locked in, he dropped to the ground and Te Huna tapped out.
Teixeira (21-2) improves to 4-0 in the UFC and this is his first victory over an opponent in the UFC that was coming off a victory.
