UFC on FX 8 took place earlier this month and the UFC has announced that all of the fighters on the card were tested and all of the fighters test passed.
UFC on FX 8 was held in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil and the drug tests were conducted by the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA).
The UFC released a statement on the drug test from UFC on FX 8 and the organization supports drug testing done by all of the regulatory agencies.
“The UFC has been informed by CABMMA that all fighters on the UFC on FX 8 card passed their pre and post-fight drug tests,” the stament said. “The UFC fully supports the drug testing efforts of all regulatory agencies. All fighters are drug tested at every event and the organization maintains a strict, consistent policy against the use of any illegal and/or performance-enhancing drugs, stimulants or masking agents.”
UFC on FX 8 was headlined by Vitor Belfort defeating Luke Rockhold in the first round by knockout after he landed a spinning head kick and the card also saw Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza defeat Chris Camozzi by submission to win his UFC debut.
