The UFC on FX 8 weigh-ins took place on Friday afternoon in Brazil and all of the fighters on tomorrow night’s main card were on weight.
Today’s weigh-in event took place at the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil which will host tomorrow’s fight card.
The main event of tomorrow’s fight card will be a five round middleweight bout as Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (186 lbs) makes his UFC debut and will face Vitor Belfort (186 lbs).
After both fighters weighed in, UFC officials had to get in between the fighters as Rockhold walked straight towards Belfort during the staredown.
The only fighter on the card that initially missed weight was preliminary card fighter John Cholish. He initially weighed in at 156.2 pounds. He was given additional time to make weight, which he was able to do.
