With Renan Barao being out of the UFC 161 main event, the UFC has announced that the card will now be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Rashad Evans meets Dan Henderson.
The UFC made the announcement on Twitter and it was not announced if Wineland will be staying on the card.
UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg and the main card will air on pay-per-view.
Evans (17-3-1) has lost back to back fights with both of the defeats coming by decision against UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
Prior to the back to back losses, the former UFC light heavyweight champion had won four in a row which included wins over former champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Tito Ortiz.
Henderson (29-9) is coming off a lost to Lyoto Machida at UFC 157 by split decision and the bout was a number one contenders bout. It was his first fight in over a year and it snapped a four fight winning streak going back to late 2010.
