A featherweight bout has officially been added to UFC on FS1 #2 in Indianapolis on August 28th as Darren Elkins will face Hatsu Hioki. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday after the bout was reported by several media outlets.
UFC on FS1 #2 takes place from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be headlined by Carlos Condit facing Martin Kampmann in a five round welterweight bout.
Elkins (16-3) had his five fight winning streak snapped in April by Chad Mendes at UFC on FOX 7 and this will be his first fight in his home state since 2009, which was outside of the UFC. During his UFC career, he has gone 6-2 and five of those wins are as a featherweight.
Hioki (26-6-2) has lost back to back fights after winning his first two fights in the UFC. All of his fights in the organization have gone to the judges scorecards and he lost to Clay Guida by split decision in his last fight at UFC on FOX 6.
