Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael Dos Anjos set as co-main event of UFC on FS1 #2

The co-main event of UFC on FS1 #2 on August 28th in Indianapolis has been announced as top ten lightweight fighters will square off with Donald Cerrone facing Rafael Dos Anjos.

The fight was originally reported by Indy Star and has been confirmed by the UFC on Wednesday afternoon.

UFC on FS1 #2 takes place from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be headlined by a five round welterweight bout as former UFC interim champion Carlos Condit faces Martin Kampmann.

Cerrone (20-5, 1NC) has won seven of his nine fights since entering the UFC in 2011 and is coming off a decision win over K.J. Noons at UFC 160 last month. During his nine UFC fights, he has won six fight night bonuses which included the fight of the night and knockout of the night bonus at UFC 150 against Melvin Guillard.

Dos Anjos (19-6) entered the UFC in 2008 and is currently on a four fight winning streak. During his winning streak, his last three wins have come by decision and holds recent victories over Mark Bocek and Evan Dunham.

The current UFC on FS1 #2 card is below and tickets for the event are expected to go on sale June 14th.
