Drysdale-Oliveira, Yahya-Clopton and Nunes-Gaff added to UFC 163

A trio of bouts have been added to UFC 163 on August 3rd in Brazil as the UFC has signed Robert Drysdale to face Ednaldo Oliveira, Rani Yahya meets Josh Clopton and Amanda Nunes faces Sheila Gaff.

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday afternoon and all of those fights will likely be apart of the preliminary card on Facebook and FX.

UFC 163 takes place on August 3rd from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against Anthony Pettis.

Dysdale (6-0) is a BJJ world champion and all of his wins have come by submission in the first round. Oliveira (13-1-1, 1NC) entered the UFC at the beginning of 2012 as a heavyweight and lost his debut to Gabriel Gonzaga by submission in the first round. Following the defeat, it was announced that he would be moving down to the light heavyweight division.

Yahya (18-7) has won back to back fights and three of his four fights in the UFC. He is coming off a decision victory over Josh Grispi and two of his three UFC wins are by decision. Clopton (6-1-1) will be making his second appearance in the octagon as he lost his debut to Steven Siler at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale. He is a member of the Skrap Pack and has two submission victories in his career.

Nunes (7-3) will be making her UFC debut in this fight and she is 1-2 in her last three fights. All of her wins have come by stoppage with six of those victories coming by knockout. Gaff (10-5-1) lost her UFC debut in April against Sara McMann and six of her career wins are by knockout.
