Season Nine debut of Bellator begins September 7th at Mohegan Sun

The ninth season of Bellator will begin on Saturday, September 7th and TheMMAReport.com has learned that the event will take place from the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Bellator New Logo #2

This show is expected to be Bellator 98 and will double as the live finale for “Fight Master: Bellator MMA,” which debuts tonight on Spike TV at 10 p.m. ET following the main card broadcast of Bellator 96.

Bellator MMA has not officially announced this event but expect an announcement to come during tonight’s broadcast on Spike TV. According to the event page on Ticketmaster.com, tickets will go on sale to the general public tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. ET and a pre-sale begin this morning.

This will be the seventh time that Bellator will hold an event at the Mohegan Sun and this will be the first time they have been back to the venue since Bellator 63 in March of last year. No fights have been confirmed for the fight card at this time but Bellator bantamweight Joe Warren told TheMMAReport.com last week that he will be on this card.
